No. Deacons serve in the church itself. Unless these are all full deacons or arch-deacons they should not be wearing their tounias outside the church. We don't wear tounias while doing tasbeha do we?

I find that the Coptic youth are less willing to accept protestantism than the adults. It seems in the few places that protestant theology and worship have entered into certain church functions, the youth refuse it, at least most of them.

Coming from the protestant denominations I have heard it all when it comes to protestant tv. Oral Roberts, a famous evangelist, once stated that if he did not get the couple million to build his school that God would kill him.
