  • 7&4 is ONLY on Saturday nights. This does not apply for tasbeha during the week. During the week the tasbeha is different where only the theotokia of the day is said and hymns of that day are said.

  • I've heard its Anna and from what the texts in the tasbeha say its anna, I don't think its located in the Bible specifically
  • Thanks mina, anyone else?
  • Mina if you listen to the whole track its from the 3rd alleluia on its not the same at all
  • Its 50 or 51 depending on the translation you have. According to the septugaint(which is the closest to the coptic translation) it should be psalm 50 because in fact there are 151 psalms and not 150 which the NKJV has.
  • No i'm speaking of this one specifically check out the link its by Gad Lewis, I know of the normal long beginning to the psalm, but this one is 10 min on its own!
  • Happy Thanksgiving to you too!!! Thanks for reminding us to really look and realize how fortunate we are and how much we really take for granted. We need to thank God for everything, concerning everything and in everything. God Bless and Pray for …

  • Practice more and more at home, don't focus on the people, and focus on the alter when saying the response, don't worry if you mess up, take the leap and God will help you.
  • Excuse the space
  • That verse I think is only saying that he was taken into the sky, notice heaven isn't capitilized so it cannot be referring to the Heaven of heavens where the Throne of our Lord is. As you said, no one knows where Elijah(or Enoch) is waiting.
  • Welcome! I'm sure you will gain from this site more and more and God willing we can learn from your posts
  • He also says He who eats My Body and Drinks My Blood will have eternal life and who doesn't will not recieve it....
  • Yeah it does, but when said in context it can mean you show favoritism or something like that. Say you are the only person in a class and you get an A cause the teacher favors you. Thats Cosa lol
  • [quote author=Godislove_ link=topic=7316.msg97195#msg97195 date=1226625790] I always be serving in the alter and it represents the two angels at the resurrection of our lord.  Anyways, one deacon holds for the flesh and one for the blood.    [/quote…

  • No it certainly is not, like we said, the rites of the church during that week have nothing to do with your personally, ideally, its nice to just focus on Holy Week, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with listening to things outside their season.
  • Yes it may say that, but those aren't necessarily Christs words. I have had this question for quite sometime and still have not found the answer.
  • Ok so I went and looked up the rites for the liturgy from HG Bishop Mettaous and found why the deacon holds the cross and a candle: " the cross and the candle refer to Christ who endured the suffering of the cross and sacrificed Himself to give et…

  • Yeah mina is right, The rites for Holy week are amazing, nothing can compare to the tunes of this entire week. And just as mina said, these tunes really aren't that "sad" they are half sad half joyful. Almost all of them(except you can argue Ti-epes…
