How can I truly repent and ask and get God's forgiveness.

1. Ask Him for it.

Its been said,
If you try to repent without the help of God, you will fall back again and again!

There is a verse that says not even the hair of your head falls without His permission (not sure exactly where)

So firstly ask him:
GOD give me repentance, you said there is joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than 99 just persons (again nto sure where lol)

He will answer if you truly mean it :)
