@ophadece and at every single one of those times they change, i will follow their decisions within church despite what my own opinion is...or anyone in fact.
@ophadece...we are to say the entire Creed because the Synod simply said so. our holy Synod has the right to change rites as much as it would like--it, being one entity and not just as a bishop or a couple.
as for the Creed: The entire Creed is said…
@JC_HMONAS
-you can say ALL the verses in festive tune if you would like...and abouna actually lets you :p
-I think you can add shere ghabriel.
Ondos shouldn't really be said. it has nothing to do with the day's rite.

For 3) that is interesting...it should be all the 3 feast's. only on 29 paramhat is the annunciation celebrated alone.
@qawe...cantors were NOT being ordained just as cantors with their own rank but as deacons of the rank of arch-epsaltos simply because, while being blind, they are unable to be reads.
despite the above, and with the spread of hymns on the internet, …
The Liturgy is the most important service in the Church. We partake of God to be with HIm and He with us daily. In the coptic rite, we emphasize that prayers are always chanted and we do have a great heritage for hymns.
When a someone goes to anothe…
@ophadece...thats how you'd know the deacon that knows the lahn well enough from the one who just studied once or twice or even just followed some hazzat. we ought not to be audio players of alhan but living beings that live the lahn and sing it fro…
oh my dear @ophadece...those two things are very different. In full unique hymns, ekhrestos anist, kata nikhoros, o-on-ohelpees, niroumi,...etc hazzat matter. In praises where there are psalies or hooses or madayeh, it's all about tarkeep to a speci…
@cyril....well. We can't say we are asking for those in Hades because we simply DO NOT KNOW. we do not know if those are in hades or in paradise because we are not the judge.
I still don't see any issues with the texts you posted. It's all about praying for the soul of the person at the time of their departure. Nothing speaks about those who are in Hades
@minasoliman...to me, a very simple minded-person when it comes to theological and patristic studies, that sounds that Hades is a place similar to purgatory. Also, we were always taught that once one dies, he either goes to hades or paradise until j…
Hmmm.....because i do not believe that hymns and hazzat are absolute nor there is one only unique/incomparable/accurate teaching for hymns. ya3ny to get to the bottom of the argument that we may start on :-)
Actually, I like the change. aiernovi didn't translate the sentence after the decisions:His Holiness [Pope Shenouda] commented on what was omitted in the third prayer of the Sagda saying that the transforming/moving from Hades to Paradise is not pos…
M. Gad had a nice voice is good at teaching. I learned Kerie leison of lent from him but then then reviewed it with m Ibrahim. So i recommend M Gad lessons for learning and then you can review it with other sources.
Side comment, i don't feel like omonogenis is a 'sad tune'...i feel it's one of those hymns that you can feel great reverence in hazzat, ornaments, and words.
So there are a couple of things that I want to comment on here.
So the Church was affected greatly by St. Peter and St Paul and consider them the head of the disciples and the apostles. We are slowly changing texts to get away from that thought but…
